About the photographer:
Being the son of a US Army officer, Jerry Jurgens grew up traveling and developed a passion for photography at an early age. His first camera was a small boxy camera with a viewfinder that you had to look down through from the top. Each of those small black and white images was a treasure. For most of his life his photography has been shared with friends and family. It was a natural progression for Jerry to provide his images for sale, as he wants to share his joy with many more people. Jerry has taken pictures from Europe to Micronesia. He approaches each picture with the feeling that he is capturing new treasures to share that can spark our memories and our imagination.
